where did july go???

Ok....so i must be the most irresponsible blogger out there.....well, this month has been crazy busy to boot as well. we went to northern CA for grandma and grandpa Talley's 70th wedding anniversary....that trip was amazing!!! when we got home from that don left the next day for a work trip. when he got home...we had a little less than a week and then it was don and i off to camp while the kids stayed here with grandparents. we got back from camp on Saturday night and i sent don off today for another work trip. so, it has been busy. i have TONS of pics from the Cali vacation but no time to upload them all but i do have two pics of.....NOT the girls...but actually don and i as a treat for you!!:)

camp...was amazing. the theme was...CAMP...where everything changes. it was so great to go this year. Don spoke to some 350 kids and he did great. The Lord gave him just enough energy to get through it all. i was able to go this year with him and be his helper...it was wonderful. (first time in 5 yrs that i have been able to go to camp with him!!!) we had a great time and look forward to many more. the kids were very connected to don and everything he was saying and some big steps were taken. we had just over 40 kids say for the first time that they wanted to trust Jesus with their life...how awesome is that. there were so many kids there that were hurting and looking for help. it was great to surround them. i got to meet with a cabin of girls for cabin time and it was wonderful to see them laugh, cry and scream all in the matter of 30 seconds or so....high school girls right!!!:) God did some great work and broke down some huge walls that kids have built up for years!! it was good for us to get away and do this together again.

this next month Taylor will be going back to school.........1st grade if you can believe it. maddie gets one more year at home with mommy for home school preschool. i am looking forward to having her this last year and making it soooo much fun. believe it or not this is my 99th post...i started this blog about 3 yrs ago and i do love journaling about the girls and their pics and our ministry as well. i guess i will have to do something great for the 100th post...or maybe just do that post in the near future....i guess that would be great in itself.
