MIA

Sorry, i have been so quiet lately(at least on here). we have had a very busy last three weeks or so. Don and I celebrated 7 yrs of marriage on April 20th. Taylor celebrated her 6th birthday on May 6th. I celebrated my 29th birthday on May 8th and then today we are celebrating Mothers day!!!! This time of year is always busy for us but also fun!!

We took our family vacation May 1st-8th. We had a time share condo and went up to Vail, CO for a week in the mountains. This was just what we needed after a very busy 3 months of don traveling. The girls LOVED swimming...as we did that every day!! the weather was not great but ok. we had a great time celebrating Taylor's birthday up there!! She LOVED telling EVERYONE she was 6 now and even got us free chipotle by charming the check out lady and telling her all about being 6:) We had a little "hannah montana" celebration much to the delight of Taylor. The girls have improved so much in their swimming skills....taylor was swimming quite well WITHOUT flotation help and she was thrilled. Maddie even surprised us by putting her face in and swimming a lot as well. i am hoping this summer they both just get better and better. One sad thing on vacation....we lost our camera....i keep holding out hope someone will find it and they will call and we will still have it but for now that is not the case so we will be without that for awhile and maybe have to go get another one:( oh well, its just a camera. i am sad about the vacation pics that were lost but glad the others ones were saved!!

This next week is the last week of school for Maddie!! she has come so far this year and we are so proud of her!! she continues to bring joy, laughter and at times frustration(:P) to the house!! she is full of energy and ready for summer!! She has a cute little tan from our week up in the mountains!!

Taylor has 2 weeks left of school and then kindergarten graduation.....i can't believe how fast this year has gone by!!! i can't believe i will have a 1st grader next year!! i am sure i will need tissues at graduation time. she continues to love to read and count and is doing great. She loves to be 6 finally (most of her friends have been 6 FOREVER...in her mind of course). she is growing up on us....she likes to brush her hair now and will brush her teeth multiple times a day (to make sure they are shiny). oh man....what we have in store for us:)

that is it for now...i must go put the kiddos down for the count.
