Well, my dreams of not having a schedule and being all free spirited and doing some "fun" things with the kiddos hasn't happened so much!!! My mom came over this weekend and we did get both of the girls rooms painted....they look sooooo cute...i will take pics soon!!
Then on Sunday Taylor started to come down with a pretty deep sounding cough. Monday was worse and she took a three hour nap and i was worn out trying to keep Maddie from bothering her. Tuesday her nose started draining....so that was just gross. Wednesday i thought we were finally on the upswing and had one more day at home to make sure Maddie was fine. Then today.....we have a blizzard outside so housebound again. So, i have been out of this house for a grand total of ready....2 and a half hours since Sunday!!! i am a little stir crazy....Taylor has been up at nite cause she can't sleep without coughing so i am happy to be over this cold. Not the spring break i had pictured....but it can only get better right:) We are having a fun guest coming from out of town this weekend.....the girls are beyond thrilled to see their JAKE!! Jake is a young YFC Staff from IL who loves to come to the Talley's for a little family time and food. The girls love it too and they can't wait. So i will take some pics this weekend!!
Also, this week don and i heard that a dear friend Bob Adams went to be with Jesus. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ramona and the rest of the family. Bob and Ramona are from Don's home church in Escondido, CA and have known don since Don's high school years. They are great friends and we will miss Bob very much.
Pics will come later as i haven't taken any that you would enjoy....you know snot and everything:) Here's to a better spring break next year!!!
