I actually have been taking some pics the last couple of weeks so i thought i would share some photos so you can see what we have been up to. these first couple pictures are from when we went to the zoo with my mom. my girls still LOVE going to the zoo and seeing every animal they can!! Maddie likes to feed the giraffes but taylor still won't;)

I was a parent volunteer on Taylor's class trip to the Museum. My group had these 4 cuties in it. don't let the boys fool you....they are very cute but MAN.....boys have a very different amount of energy than the girls!! i ran after them all day:)

My mom turned 61 the first weekend of March and she also moved into her new house that same week. so my loving husband offered to surprise my mom and fly my sister amber out for a surprise visit. it was a short visit but fun for amber to see the house and the girls. so the next few pics are from her visit.

Finally, a pic from preschool. i am still teaching preschool 3 mornings a week here at the house. we have picked up another student as you can see. the kids are doing great and still having a lot of fun. it is a lot of work but maddie loves it. it is fun to see the changes in all of the kids. last week we worked on the letter "H" and made these cute horses out of plates and they had a blast making them!!!

sick...

Sick....pretty much sums up my last ten days or so. i got some kind of cold awhile back and it has just taken me forever to get over it. still not totally over it but i feel much better!! i am not even the one who usually gets sick around here. i usually take care of everyone and then i never get it but not this time. Sore throat, cough and on and off fever and that is me. No one else has gotten it which is funny but i have been cleaning like a mad woman because i didn't want the kiddos to get this. don was out of town speaking at a banquet last week and then got back late Saturday then he left Tuesday for a short two day mtg in the mountains so he has been gone a lot.

A fun surprise.....my loving husband who pry felt a little bad with me being sick and him being gone...........offered to fly my sister out here as a surprise this weekend for my mom. My mom moved out here about 2 and half years ago and has been renting an apartment while her house sold in Ohio and then was looking for something out here to buy. well, she finally found that PERFECT house and is moving this week. well, her birthday is on Sunday and she took the whole week off work so Don thought it would be perfect if Amber (my sister who lives in Ohio) could come out and see the house and celebrate her birthday. So, amber flys in tonite and this weekend we are planning on a big slumber party at the new house. the kids are sooooo excited to see auntie amber. maddie keeps asking me all day today if she is here yet:) so pics from this weekend to come!!! i am glad that i am feeling better and i look forward to hanging out this weekend!!!! i did get to go on a field trip with Taylor and her class yesterday and that was fun and TIRING !!!! but, since i am flashing back with pics...i never posted any Halloween pics so here is one for ya. i was a procrastinator this year and waited till the day before to buy costumes.....found these two cute genie costumes on clearance.....i think they were cute enough to pull it off!!!
