Back....and its a two post catch up day

To catch everyone up on the last month and a half i have two posts of some pics. we have been doing really good. just keeping busy with life and fun trips and Don's work trips and school. Maddie had a birthday in the middle of September (the post below has pics of that) and then don and i got away for a long weekend in September for a wedding and a couple extra days in Chicago. that was such a great time. School has been going well. we have fall break this week and i am trying to catch up on things such as blogging during fall break;) Taylor continues to do well in 1st grade. she is loving school and being with her friends. she had a fiesta last Thursday to close out their unit on Mexico and she had a blast with that. i am home preschooling Maddie this year and two of her little friends and that is going really good. we have noticed some huge changes in the three girls....they are all writing their name (two couldn't write anything when school started) and their attention spans are getting longer and longer. so it is going really well. some of these pics are from preschool and their projects and we also went to the zoo for a field trip as well so those pics are in here. so enjoy these posts and i promise to try and become better at updating everyone.

don and i loved our trip to Chicago....and it would not be complete without getting some good deep dish pizza!!

i love chicago!! one of my favorite cities....and we noticed again....all over chicago how friendly people are and how they jump to help get doors for don and ask if he needs help.

we took a fairy ride and we loved it. very fun.

at jake and ali's wedding....remember emily...it was great to see her at the wedding.

Field trip to the zoo with preschool friends and sisters. Taylor was in school. let me tell you....we had three moms and 6 kids and it was a chore to keep track of everyone....all the mommies were very tired but it was a great day.

the two 5 yr olds...avery is about 6 months older than maddie but maddie is taller. she jumped into the 75% for height so she is having a growth spurt.

the last 10 min of the day all 6 of the girls were riding between the stroller and the wagon...i got stuck pulling these three cuties.

on friday we took the girls to walmart to pick out pumpkins for carving after fall break.

taylor had friday off so she was the special preschool helper;)

Time for blogging...

Alright friends....its time to continue to catch you up on what has been happening at the Talley's. mid September brought along a birthday. Maddie (my baby) turned 5!!! this absolutely blew me away. wow have the last 5 yrs gone by fast. Maddie wanted to have a princess ball for her party. so we did everyone's nails and hair and then DJ daddy put together a soundtrack of crazy screaming fun for these girls and they had an absolute blast. it was great!! below are some pics from the party. the dance pics are blurry as all my targets were moving and jumping but you get the idea!!

dd is a friend of ours who works with don at YFC and she brought some pink spray paint for their hair....to Maddie's delight.....don't all Cinderella's have pink hair:0

the only group shot i got the whole party. it was so busy and we were even minus 3 guests because a family got sick and they weren't able to make it. i kept thinking if they came how much LOUDER it would've gotten:)

we had an old campus life light that swirled and they loved it. don had a track of kids songs and they just jumped and screamed and jumped some more....very entertaining.
