Better Late than never???

OK AMBER...you have been heard:) My sister has been waiting for pics of her nieces hair cuts and i have been promising them but have not had ANY to post....so these are the only ones i had:) My camera got trapped in my purse and there for hasn't been used much the last couple weeks!! i have it on the counter now and promise to take more pics!!:)

what have we been up to? well, don has been going through his yearly exams with all of his specialists. he is wanting to start....i mean continue taking care of his body!! He still has his good days and bad days and we pray that he will have the strength to get through the next few months which are HEAVY travel for him. Most of the specialists we see....take all kinds of tests and then there final conclusion is confusion!! they have never met anyone with exact disorder which does make it hard to treat so we just go with the flow and try to do what the recommend. Like i said he is getting ready to start traveling again...i think he has 3 trips in February and the months that follow are just as busy. Really through the end of summer he just has a lot of in and out....so pray for us both to get through this time!!:)

I....have been doing the same old stuff...running kids places, MOPS, Church, I added a Bible study morning to my schedule and just keeping this place going.

Taylor still has her loose tooth. i think she doesn't wiggle it because she doesn't want it to fall out:) The biggest thing for her is that we are switching schools for her. we just found out that we got into a school that we tried to get into at the beginning of the year and if we move her now she will be able to go here till 8th grade and this will guarantee Maddie to get in as well. the new school is great...her teacher is wonderful, the offer so many more "specials"...Taylor is really excited to have art class and Spanish. so, she starts Monday and is thrilled. we haven't really been too thrilled with the school she is in now so this was just a huge blessing. She is READING now...she picked a book of the shelf today and totally read the whole thing which is great!!

Maddie is doing good. she had conferences this past week and she is doing great. her teacher is impressed with her maturity and listening skills....her teacher laughed when i looked puzzled at this report:) you know some kids listening and being kind to others comes naturally....some not so much!! HA!! we love her she is doing good.

that is it for now. i am off to pick up Taylor....these pics...we were just screwing around one day making funny faces and being silly:)

Growing Up....

Well, I just wanted to say hi and give you a quick heads up....Taylor has her very first wiggly tooth!! she is very concerned about it falling out and eating and not having a tooth there and then the new one growing in....all of this had to be talked through tonight before she could go to bed. So, don and i were fielding the questions and i could tell she was a little hesitant about all of this, so i thought would throw in the TOOTH FAIRY MONEY aspect....she looked right at me and said "mommy, fairies aren't real!!"....well, excuse me child;) We promised her the tooth wouldn't hurt when it came out!! we told her how big she is getting....she replied "I know.....look i have hair on my legs!!" Where did my baby go??!!

on the flip side....i was talking to Maddie in the car waiting for Taylor the other day and she looked at me and said "mommy, I love you....i think i am going to be little forever and be FOUR!!" The innocence is what i love:)

No pics today...just some quick stories...but i will take pics soon...the girls got short haircuts and we may have a toothless smile to show you as well!!

Holiday Pics...

Well, we hope that you all had a great holiday time!!! We certainly did...we had Don's dad here for 12 days and we had my sister Amber and her boyfriend Sean here for 9 days!! It was a crew but we certainly had a lot of LAUGHS, GAMES, Wii, and FUN with the kiddos!! The girls did great on Christmas eve singing in the children's choir!! We were so proud of them!! It was fun to have family here that we haven't seen in awhile. And we certainly ate well....we all need to go on diets now;) We hope you had a great Christmas as well.....i am doing all of these pics in two posts so be sure to scroll down to see the other Christmas post!! Zoo and Garden of the Gods

Our family fun continued.....for some;) We went to the Colorado springs zoo at night to see the lights.....some were colder than others!! It was fun though and the girls loved the animals and the lights. We also went to one of our favorite places....Garden of the Gods....more fun and not sooo cold!! we really had great weather the whole time everyone was here!!
