Crazy week

Hi everyone!! another eventful week over here at the Talley's....i am sensing a trend i think. first off, my brother who is 3 yrs older than me and lives near my hometown in Ohio was in the hospital most of this week. that caused some stress over here!! but the good news is he is out as of today and the doctors were able to AVOID surgery which is great!! he had a bowel obstruction but the doctors were really concerned because of his medical history which includes many abdominal surgeries so they were hesitant to operate and thankfully didn't have to!! We are praying for you Corey...take care!!

Next, Taylor had another milestone crossing week.....she graduated from PRESCHOOL!!! and i must say YES i teared up when she got her little diploma!! i am so very proud of her!! she is so kind, loving, energetic and has really loved learning this year at school. Never once has she complained about going to school....which is so nice that she WANTS to go...hopefully that will last;) They had a wonderful little program and then a nice picnic afterwards. She made some great friends this year and it has been so nice to see her branch out on her own a little!! Her last day of school was today....i don't think she really understands that she isn't going to go back but she said she did!! We are glad that this year was so great for her....she had some amazing teachers!!

Madison continues to be our little fireball....man!! she is still using the potty!!! praise God!! still dressing up ALL the time and still saying stuff like...."daddy, thank you is a nice word right??!!"....knowing she is using her "cute" voice!! this child cracks us up hourly!!

Playground SMILES

well the new addition to the talley household....the long awaited playground!!!!!!!!!! and the girls are pumped!!! man this was a project if i do say so myself. first saving for one....it took years!!!...putting away a little every month!! then picking up the playset and last but not least getting this thing put together!!! if you have ever helped to put one of these things together you know what i am talking about.....the little part of the instructions that says 6-12 HOURS for assembly!!!!!! WOW...thankfully we have some WONDERFUL friends (who like our kids) and donated MUCH time to get this thing where it is.....it still isn't done....we have some little things to still put on and the sandbox and table for under the playset still need work...but at least the girls can use it now!!! A BIG THANKS to Andy, Dave and Amber!!!....we would NOT have been able to do it without you!! The GIRLS LOVE the playset....so does MOMMY!!! it will be well loved for a long time!!

the weather is also turning and that is nice....to ride bikes, take walks and be outside and TALK to neighbors is heavenly!! Last week was a busy week at the talley household....first MY BABY....taylor turned 5!!!!!....how the heck did that happen??? she had a great party and loved it!!(pics will come in the next post). two days after taylor turned the big 5....i had a birthday!!! then a few days later....Mothers day!!! so things have been hoppin over here....so here are some pics to start you off of the new playset!! the girls are pretty funny if i do say so myself!!

ok people....a special treat for all of you.... while we were in san diego we had some professional family pics taken with don's side of the family. it was a great time and we got some PRECIOUS pics that we will always treasure. my girls cooperated really well even though it was FREEZING!! i thought i would share some of these pics with blogland so you can see my precious family....when i started to pick which ones to share....i realized how hard it was to CHOOSE. they are all so good!! props to the photographer!!
