Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok....so we have had a busy week or so but today was all about dressing up and going trick and treating and to the church!! It was a crazy day but we all had fun. The girls were cute and LOVED dressing up in their costumes that they picked out. Maddie was Minnie Mouse of course (and was very offended when a little boy at church tried to tell her she was Mickey mouse:) Madison loves Minnie so she was very happy to be her all day. In fact this afternoon when she took her costume off for a little bit she told me "Mommy, you want me to turn into to Maddie now?" :0
Taylor had a great day today too. At preschool everyone dressed up and they had a special Halloween party. They did a lot of fun activities. Taylor was JoJo the clown from JoJo's Circus. She also had fun wearing her costume and told me that everyone at school loved her costume;)

Tonight we went trick or treating to about 4 of our neighbor's houses (basically people we know who just wanted to see the kids). The girls did really good knocking, saying "trick or treat" and saying "thank you!" It was really cold though...i don't know if Maddie or Don would have made it much longer. After that we went to the church to the Halloween festival they have. They have games, candy and ponies so that was fun! We made one more stop at a YFC friend's house and then home. The girls were exhausted and so are we!! There are a lot of pics...hard to choose which ones to post....they are all so cute;) So Enjoy!

Birthday Party

Hi!! We are all doing a lot better now. Just in time for Grandpa (Don's dad) to get here with Uncle Lee and Mr. Mark to come and help us!!! More on all that later! On Saturday Taylor was invited to a birthday party for her friend, Kylie. Kylie is one of the girls in Taylor's preschool class. The party was at Build-a-bear. I had never been to a build-a-bear before so we were both excited!! My mom took Maddie for the day and I took Taylor to the party. Build-a-bear is so cute....very cute party idea!!! There are 4 girls in Taylor's preschool class and they were all at the party....and Taylor had a GREAT time with all her new friends. It is so neat to see Taylor making new friends and loving it so much!! Here are some pics from the party!! I will try and explain what is happening so you know how build-a-bear works;)

No Laundry Today!!!

Well, I for one am very excited that I didn't even have to think about loads of laundry today. When everyone is sick....for a week you wouldn't believe how many linens you go through!! Today was relaxing....everyone slept through the night in their own beds!! (when they were sick they usually came in to "sleep"with us). Everyone was feeling better today and the girls just had fun playing with their toys and each other. Don and I watched football and hung out. All was pleasant....except I am leading Don in our fantasy football game today!!!! I am excited about that....he on the other hand HATES losing....esp. to his wife;) Don't worrry I don't rub it in at all;) So, hopefully this will be a better week with no more sickness!!

These pics are from when our friends Blake and Rachael came to see us last weekend. We went to the Garden of the Gods which is just a really pretty place!! When I saw this first picture...I couldn't believe how BIG Maddie is getting....she is def. looking bigger all the time and acting VERY "three" if you know what I mean;)

Aren't the rocks beautiful...don and taylor are down at the bottem!! It was wonderful having the electric wheelchair and not having to push don up and down the hills!! He gave lots of rides to the girls and had a good time.

Maddie woke up at 1am throwing up. This continued on for the next 12 hours. She is FINALLY asleep on the couch and hasn't thrown up in 2 hours...which is a record for today!!! So, pray for this little one. Her body is just so worn out. Our goal for the rest of the day...#1...no more puking....#2...holding down some applesauce or a popsicle....#3...drinking a teaspoon an hour...and #4..not making any more laundry for a tired mommy!!

Ok, so #4 is my wish...but come on...I am tired too;)

Other than that not too much going on. We missed the fall festival today at Taylor's preschool....its sad cause we were really looking forward to it. It would've been a lot of fun....but its ok. I will post some pics when we are all feeling better.

Keep praying that Don and I don't get this....we will see I guess...I am not placing any money on that!!!

have i mentioned i hate the flu

Well, the girls did get their flu shots this week, but it was too late....they were already exposed to the flu. So, Taylor was puking all day today. Not fun.....puking with toddlers....is just gross. I just know Maddie will wait to start puking tonight sometime!! just my luck. Don is out of town....lucky guy!!! It was nice however to call my mom this morning and ask her to come over and help...which she did....i am so lucky. So, this week has not been great...but we will survive.

So, not much else going on right now...just trying to get everyone healthy again!! I am a tired momma....so i am going to go rest my eyes and then put the kiddos down...hopefully we will survive tonight.
