hey everyone,
I thought I would update you on what is going on around here. One very exciting thing that is happening is that miss Taylor is actually getting ready to start preschool here in a couple weeks. Mommy has mixed emotions I guess...on one hand I am VERY excited to have three afternoons a week with just one child who will be either napping or watching a movie (is it bad to be excited about that??). On the other hand it is also sad....Taylor is really growing up and this new phase of school in her life will def. be a change in the come and go schedule we have right now. But, it does help that Taylor is SO excited for this...she is our social little bug who can't wait to meet friends and go to school so we know she will do just fine. So some big changes coming our way.
Madison on the other hand is so cute sometimes and so very TWO other times....this very minute she is laying on her back "whining" for being told to wait her turn...an every five minute occurrence over here i suppose:) But yesterday I was playing with Maddie downstairs in her little play house...she was serving me "dinner"..plastic pizza and pretend water:)...sounds good huh. Well, I was playing with her and asked her for a pretend hotdog...what did she say.....well she stood at the pretend sink and held her hand up and said "MINUTE, MINUTE". I took that to mean "just a minute". Well, I started laughing cause it was so cute....later last nite she did it to daddy too!!! This child has attitude people....she gets that from daddy. Ok, i must go and deal with this tantrum that is still going on by the way:) have a good day...no pics today just stories.

Sera's Wedding
Ok...since i haven't blogged inawhile...i thought i would go crazy and blog two days in a row:) julie sent me these great pics today so i knew i had to share them:) These are all pics from Sera's (a friend from college) wedding on July 7th. I really had a great time seeing wonderful friends from college and of course seeing Sera so happy and beautiful!!
On another note.....i guess i can "vent" sometimes on this blog right...i will try not to offend anyone but my husband and i have been having issues as of late......i think that my husband is pretty lucky ( he married me remember:)...well, some advantages Don has is that he married a girl who loves to watch : pro football, ohio state college football, march madness, nba basketball and i play fantasy football....on a side note i am in a league with all guys, and i have been in the championship game twice...winning the whole thing once!! So, Don should feel lucky that i enjoy all those things along with him without any fights. But, that is where my sport interest ENDS....and of course his doesn't. he likes this thing called baseball....he actually likes to sit and watch the games!! that drives me insane...to me there is nothing fun about sitting for hours watching the ball go back and forth for hours on end. So, i told him that i am going to start blogging about this problem if it continues to occur:) I don't know what you think but i am thinking DON needs to compromise on this one:) i know...pretty serious issues we have huh:)
Other than that...nothing too much new...we had a group playdate at the park today...the kids had a great time and had a picnic. we then came home and the girls "helped" me mow the lawn. Anyways, enjoy the pics. Thanks Julie!!

Pics from the past!!

Ok Ok Ok....
So i haven't updated the blog in awhile....and people are already noticing??!! that just makes me think that people are actually enjoying this blog stuff a little!! well, the main reason for no updates....no pics!! i have been really bad lately at taking pictures and keeping my camera charged and in hand....a lot of this has to stem from being too busy chasing after the little monsters to stop and try to get them to stop so i can take pics. anyone else have this problem?? my kids are full of energy.
Things have been somewhat quiet around here...Don's sister and her family left after i got home from the wedding. i had a great time at the wedding...Sera is a friend a from college and I love her to death, so it was great to see how happy she is!! i also got to reconnect with some college friends and that was great too....where are the pics you ask...Julie has yet to mail them to me:0...hint hint julie...j/k.
On another note...we were supposed to be headed home next week or so for a couple weeks but the dates for our trip home have been postponed till september, so we will have to wait to see all those little babies in Archbold in September.
My kids just seem to be getting so big....i keep noticing how much and how quickly they are changing...Madison is def. acting VERY....3 if you know what i mean. And Taylor will be starting pre school in a month...that baffles my mind too. So, i went threw some of our pics and put some old pics from the past up...since i haven't been taking any lately:) Thanks for your patience though...Ang!!

Happy Fourth of July!!
I hope everyone had a great holiday yesterday. I thought i would post some pics of our day. We had a very busy and fun holiday. The girls are already waiting for another 4th of July to come. We started out the day by going to the happiest place on earth...yup Chucke E Cheese. We had lunch and played and the girls loved it. Then we went home and went to the neighborhood bounce house. We found out that there are a lot of little girls living right down the street. So, our kids were very excited to meet some new friends. It will be fun to start getting to know them!! We had a great time there. Then we went home to change and get ready to go to the fairgrounds. When we were at the fairgrounds the girls got their faces painted, did an art project, saw some jugglers, and a king and queen. We then had fun waiting for the fireworks...that is when the fun ended:) Taylor is VERY sensitve to sound so she HATED the fireworks...but Maddie was loving it...so we compromised and went to watch from inside the car and both girls were happy. On the way home Taylor kept talking about how much they loved the fireworks and that it was WAY past her bedtime and she needed to go home and take a "nap".....we couldn't agree more:) So, we washed off and then went to bed.....so it was a great day. Now we are getting ready for Aunt Debbie, Uncle Bob, Jarrod and Kylie to come tomorrow and Mommy flys out tomorrow for a wedding. I will be home on Sunday and then Debbie's family leaves on Tuesday so we will have another busy and fun week!!! Enjoy the pics!!
