Waiting for Daddy to come home!!!

Hi everyone!!! well, this has certainly been a long month, but the girls are so excited that Daddy is coming home in a few hours. They are working on a "surprise" for him right now!! Don was speaking all week at a YFC camp in Canada. He said things went really well and the kids were great and he had some wonderful talks with students. I think he is coming home with some short video clips so I may actually try and get one on the blog so you can see what my husband does!!! No big things with the kids this week...just some more water fun outside. Hope everyone had a good week!!! Some more pics from today actually as the kids wanted to make their own "water park" with their little pool and the sprikler mat. they spent more time trying to drink the water and pour the water on the grass then they did actually playing in the pool. Fun either way i guess!!

Our day at Breckenridge

On Friday we went up to Breckenridge because I love that town and I think it is adorable and the mountains are beautiful. It was kind of cloudy, but it was still a great trip. The girls loved seeing the mountains and the cute park they have. We were able to go do some shopping in the town and it was great to get away. My girls particularly loved driving through the tunnels on the way up the mountain!! (its always the little things that bring the biggest joys to toddlers!!). Oh yeah...the picture with the big bear....it is so Maddie...she is in love with her "bear"...he goes everywhere with us and when she saw this big bear...she was in love with that too!! she is a funny charcter for sure.

Busy Week!!! Happy Belated Fathers Day!!!

Hi everyone!! sorry for my lack of posts, but i do have my excuses ready:) Don got home friday evening and we were all VERY excited to see daddy. the girls started jumping and climbing right away!! on sat morning my mom got here so the girls have been running around showing Grandma everything they like to do!! We have already been swimming and the girls love to show daddy and Grandma how good they are at jumping in!! Fathers Day was also on Sunday. We had a pretty low key day...we went to church and lunch and then came home and just hung out. daddy was still pretty tired from his two weeks of teaching at Summer Institute. His girls did make him some interesting cupcakes and made up a little song to go with it!! so that was fun. Tomorrow we are going over to Colorado Springs to the Focus on the Family place...they have slides, veggie tale caves, costumes and much much more for the kids to do so the girls are excited to say the least!!! They call it "Bob and Larry's house". Here are some pics...i will post more later as i get time!!

Swimming in the "BIG POOL"

My kids are too funny. Ever since i took them swimming at the neighborhood pool that is all they want to do. It doesn't even matter what the weather is like. Today it is rainy, cloudy, and cold and they have no idea why i don't want to go swimming. Madison loves saying "BIG POOL". She can never just say it....she has to yell it and jump when she says it. Its so funny. These kids are crazy. Here are some pics...they were too cute and i know Don loves to see the girls when he is away.
